About Me

Hello there!
I'm Jillian, a professional family and wedding photographer born and raised in Ontario, Canada. However, I've now settled in the beautiful Lofoten Islands in Norway, for two reasons; my heart was stolen by the breathtaking Norwegian mountains and a handsome Norwegian man.
I specialize in capturing those natural moments you'll cherish forever. Imagine looking back at your portraits and being transported back to that moment. The joy and happiness of being surrounded by your loved ones, frozen in time in a beautiful photograph - it's truly priceless.
In my free time, you'll find me wandering around the majestic mountains with my trusty camera in hand. Lofoten has some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes and scenery in the world. I will never tire of exploring the endless opportunities it offers to capture stunning family portraits. So whether you want to take photos on a sandy beach, in front of the towering mountains, or in a quaint fishing village, I'm here to help you find the perfect location.
My passion for photography developed at a young age when I became our official family photographer at just 10 years of age. I would run around with my Aunt's SLR camera taking portraits of all our extended family. Then, when I turned 15, I traveled to Africa on a photo expedition. I had spent all my spare time babysitting to save money for my own camera and a trip of a lifetime. This was the pivotal moment in my life when I truly understood the importance of portraits. After this trip, I was hooked. I pursued my interest by studying Creative Photography in College. Since then, I have been traveling and capturing as many different people and parts of the world as possible.
My photography has taken me to many beautiful places around the world. I've been fortunate to be able to run my portrait photography business and to have years of experience in different countries such as Canada, New Zealand, and now Norway.
Living in Norway has created exciting new challenges and possibilities, especially when combining outdoor portraits with the Arctic conditions. But it's all part of the adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I understand that family portraits can often be a stressful experience, especially with children. That's why I strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, allowing your family to be themselves and have fun in front of the camera.
My ultimate goal is to capture the special moments that you will cherish for years to come. I would love to be the photographer who captures you, your loved ones, and your memories
